If you are considering placing an order with Bridesmaid by JB or booking an appointment to visit the showroom, 

please ensure that you give the below information a read beforehand

Our Showroom Policy & Etiquette  

The Bridesmaid by JB showroom is an inviting and luxurious space recently opened for all bride-to-be's to visit for a session of dress up with your bridesmaids for a unique and unforgettable shopping experience. All appointments are conducted by Toni, who is always on hand to help and guide you through your appointment if you require assistance, please be kind and respectful to Toni - she is there to help you and will provide the best level of service during your appointment to ensure you leave happy.


We have incredibly tall free standing rails which bare a tremendous amount of weight in our dresses and floor to ceiling mirrors through the showroom so small children are not permitted in the showroom due to safety concerns. 


The showroom is not a fun environment for small children and unsupervised could cause harm to themselves or damage to our new showroom. This excludes breastfeeding brides or bridesmaids, if you or a bridesmaid are breastfeeding at the time of your appointment you can bring baby to your appointment, we just ask that if we have other brides in the showroom and your child is unsettled that you take a seat upstairs to feed to minimise disruption to our other paying guests.


Food and drink is not allowed in our retail space


Anyone trying on our showroom hand made dresses must handle them with care. If make-up or fake tan is worn while trying on, please ensure that it is not transferred onto any of the dresses while trying on. If any of the dresses that have been tried on during an appointment are found to be unable to put back on the rails for other parties to try them on the same day because of visible marks or unusual odours then the individual who booked the consultation will be notified to discuss the cleaning charges to bring the dress(es) back to original condition.


The fabrics that we work with are very delicate, please ensure that jewellery is not worn while trying on our dresses to avoid possible snagging. 


Please arrive on time to your appointment, if you arrive late we can not extend your appointment it will conclude as per your booking time. In the event that you are delayed starting your session through no fault of your own then you will still receive the full duration you booked, it will not be cut short. 


FORGETTING SHOES FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT IF MEASUREMENTS ARE TO BE TAKEN AT YOUR APPOINTMENT (18 weeks prior to wedding)

If any of your bridesmaids do not have shoes when they are being measured by us then we are now unfortunately not able to take responsibility if the dress length is made incorrectly or if the length is only slightly out. An alteration will be refused and we would need full payment to remake the dress. It is absolutely vital that your bridesmaids bring a pair of shoes that is the exact same heel height that they are wearing on your wedding day, and even better if the are the exact shoes that they will be wearing. Measurements will be taken when everything has been finalised and ideally shoes should be purchased before measurements are taken to  avoid added stress to yourself and potential added costs.


Refund Policy 

 Bridesmaid by is a UK based made-to-order womenswear brand. Returns are unfortunately not accepted on any item that complies with being made-to-order. All designs on the Bridesmaid website are custom made from fabric purchased specifically to fulfil each individual order and they are hand made to-measure. We have an alterations service in place which in most cases is a free service. 


If there is a problem with an order that relates to a production issue at Bridesmaid by JB then an alteration/replacement on the goods will be offered to rectify the issue. Because every product is custom-made to your specifications, if the order has already been produced Bridesmaid by JB retains the right to solely offer an alteration/replacement when seeking to rectify any problem with an order.


A FULL refund can be offered only when an order is cancelled within 28 days of being placed, prior to the fabric being ordered and any work being undertaken by Bridesmaid by JB. If you need to cancel an order you should contact customer services on toni@bridesmaidbyjb.com at your earliest convenience. 

Cancellation Policy 

We understand that plans may change and unforeseen circumstances can not be helped so we do have a cancellation policy incase you do need to cancel an order placed with Bridesmaid by JB.


If you need to cancel an order you are able to do so up to 28 days after your purchase to receive a full refund only if we have not yet purchased the fabric or began to produce your order. 


A full refund can only be processed within 28 days of ordering if no work or fabric costs have occurred to Bridesmaid by JB, If costs have occurred to Bridesmaid by JB then these will be factored into the refund amount.


If you need to cancel your Bridesmaid by JB order after the 28 day period an order can still be cancelled however there will be a cancellation fee which includes merchant charges and an administration fee of £50. 


If you have already chosen your fabric and then request to cancel your order the cost of the fabric that we have purchased for your order will come off the refund amount and any other costs that may have occurred to Bridesmaid by JB will be factored into the refund amount. 


If you have placed an order without deciding your fabric nor have your provided measurements meaning that only administration work has been carried out with your order then you will receive a full refund less the administration fee and merchant charges.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.bridesmaidbyjb.com (the “Site”). 

Personal information we collect 

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. Sale Terms and Conditions

Bridesmaid by JB reserve the right to apply a discount to any of our designs at any given time. Any orders placed before a sale period and after the advised end date of a sale period are are not subject to sale pricing. The discount is applied prior to shipping, shipping charges are not subject to discount. Only one discount can be applied to an order. We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the discount without notice should order capacity be reached prior to the discount end. We also reserve the right to reduce or increase the discount amount at any point between the start and finish time. Placed order price adjustments are not available under any circumstances, the discounted price redeemed at the point of sale is non-negotiable. 


Please note that if an order is placed during a sale period or if a discount code is used and you wish to book an appointment to confirm your choices you can book a BRIDESMAID APPOINTMENT, if you book this appointment in line with our production guidelines (18-20 weeks before your wedding) we can measure your bridesmaids during your appointment and you will receive your order 12 weeks later. 1-1 bespoke consultations are not valid with use of any discounts or sale order


Discount is available world wide and orders are all placed directly on our website to take advantage of any discounts. Choice confirmations and measurements should it not be feasible to visit the showroom must be submitted HERE 

if not submitting immediately with your order. We can not accept any order information via social media so please do not send anything on instagram/facebook/TikTok relating to an order, if you have any questions at all please use this page HERE to reach out to us using the relevant email link.


We will always be as accommodating as we can when it comes to bridesmaid appointments and each month have over 100 individual appointment slots. If you are placing an order and not 100% sure what you want and can be available to chat/send photos and videos and information you require, but please note that sale orders do not automatically entitle you to a bridesmaid appointment, we welcome all brides to the showroom if you do wish to book an appointment to confirm your discounted sale order however under no circumstances will Bridesmaid by JB tolerate verbal abuse should you struggle to find a date that all of your bridal party can agree on based on Bridesmaid by JB's availability. We understand that getting multiple ladies together for 1 specific date can be tricky but Bridesmaid by JB will not be responsible if we can not make a specific date and time available for any bridal party, It is up to the bride which date and time they choose to book. Toni can take bridesmaids measurements when an appointment is booked somewhere between/around 4.5-5 months before your wedding date. Any bridesmaids who can not attend an appointment can follow our online measuring guide to measure up for their dress. 


If you plan to visit the showroom you MUST agree on 1 date for ALL your local bridesmaids to visit with you. Any far and wide bridesmaids will take their measurements for you before your appointment for you to bring with you, Toni can not accept booking for multiple individual visits to accomodate for an individual local bridesmaids personal schedule for any sale orders. Weekdays are Production days, days where we make everyones orders so these days can not be disturbed under any circumstance, and 1.15H Bridesmaid appointments are not suitable to book if you have already had your appointment and it is just 1 bridesmaid who hasn't been measured, you will be required to submit their measurements following our easy to follow measuring guide HERE and bring their measurements to your appointment or submit them HERE  - Production will commence when we have ALL measurements for your order.
