What is my deadline to submit measurements before my wedding?

All measurements should be submitted by the very latest by the below guidelines

If you have 3 or more dresses, you must provide measurements no later than 18 weeks before your wedding. Between 18-20 weeks is perfect. Production is 12 weeks from the date we have ALL confirmed measurements

If you have 2 dresses, you must provide measurements no later than 16 weeks before your wedding. Between 16-18 weeks is perfect. Production is 10 weeks from the date we have ALL confirmed measurements.

If you have 1 dress, you must provide measurements no later than 12 weeks before your wedding

Please note that if you place an order with us, it is your responsibility to ensure something is in place by the above deadlines for us to have your bridesmaids measurements, we retain the right to cancel and refund any order whereby the deadline has passed meaning we are unable to fulfil the order.

If I send my bridesmaids measurements when you advise, is this enough time to have them made and delivered to us?

Yes of course, if you follow my timeline process your dresses will be delivered to you between 6-8 weeks before your wedding

What happens if we get the measurements wrong?

We completely understand that measuring yourself for a bridesmaid dress may feel a little daunting but I  promise that if you follow our photos or video demonstrations provided by us you will not go wrong and after measuring the first bridesmaid you might even think to yourself 'ohh is that really it?!' and you'll fly through it. Even if you are having doubts about the exact area in which you have measured (if you think you went a little lower than the images or higher) - the fabrics we work with are stretch based so there is room in the dresses for slight error with dresses, we aim for perfection each and every time but if you did pull a tiny bit too tight around the body or the tape measure was a tiny bit loose the dress is still going to be a great fit.

What happens if we want to lose weight after we get measured?

We have always said to our bridesmaids when asked this very question, keep doing whatever it is you're doing on for your weight loss journey, we would never want you to feel discouraged to keep going once you have been measured if you are on a journey to lose weight. From experience, because of the nature of the fabrics that we work with even if there is continuous weight loss from the date you are measured for your dress until the wedding day, when it comes to wearing your dress the fabric will move with you if there has been a decrease of any measurements. Extreme weight loss may result in the dress becoming ill fitting and in this case a local alterations specialist will be able to take the dress in if you need it.
